CDHNS Return-to-Work Announcement

Since March 2020, all CDHNS staff members have been working remotely to provide essential services such as registration, licensure, handling of complaints, and standards of practice questions. We have developed a return to work plan with limited in-office hours that will allow us to safely reopen our doors to the public. This is in effect as of August 6, 2020. CDHNS Full Day CC Event – October 17, 2020

The CDHNS is pleased to offer a full-day (6 credit hours) Continuing Competency Event on Saturday, October 17th, 2020. The event is currently scheduled to be held at the Shining Waters Marina, located at 148 Nautical Way, Tantallon, NS.

We have a great line up of speakers scheduled to present. Space is limited to this event. Watch for Information on when event registration opens.

The CDHNS is prepared to respond to a changing environment around this pandemic that may include limitations on gatherings, or other recommendations or requirements.

CDHNS Registrants and Email Updates

It is critical that you remain up-to-date with the regular updates from the CDHNS. If you aren’t receiving our emails, confirm that the email address we have on file is accurate (update your Member Profile). Additionally, check your spam or junk folder. Ensure that and are set as “safe senders” so that messages are not blocked or removed by your system. We are working closely with our IT department and can confirm that the emails are being sent to all CDHNS registrants. If the issue continues, please contact your service provider to see what can be done on your end.  

You can also check your Library under the Main Page of your Member Profile. COVID-19 Return to Practice documents are in the folder entitled CDHNS Resumption to Practice. At the end of August, the important CDHNS Renewal Information will be posted in the folder entitled Renewal Information for CDHNS Members.
