Following the AGM and Presentation on the White Paper, CDHNS offered a full-day CE course to it's members.

The Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness (DHW) continues to connect community pharmacies to its province-wide Drug Information System (DIS), and preparations are underway to provide access to prescribers and other healthcare professionals in hospitals and in the community beginning in August. This presentation provided an implementation progress update and a demonstration of the DIS Portal that Dental Hygienists will be able to use to access patient medication profiles.
